信越化學(xué)美國(guó)PVC擴(kuò)能一期項(xiàng)目開始建設(shè)
中國(guó)石化新聞網(wǎng)訊 據(jù)安迅思新聞休斯敦7月24日消息，日本信越化學(xué)周二表示，其在美國(guó)的子公司信越科技公司位于路易斯安那州普拉克明的聚氯乙烯(PVC)綜合工廠一期項(xiàng)目已開始建設(shè)。
信越化學(xué)表示，新建PVC綜合工廠位于信越科技公司在普拉克明現(xiàn)有PVC工廠附近，一期項(xiàng)目將增加29萬噸/年的PVC和27萬噸/年的燒堿產(chǎn)能。
這個(gè)投資14.9億美元項(xiàng)目預(yù)計(jì)在2020年底完成。

Shin-Etsu begins constructing first phase of US PVC expansion
Japan’s Shin-Etsu Chemical said on Tuesday that its US-based Shintech subsidiary has begun construction on the first phase of a new integrated plant to produce polyvinyl chloride (PVC) at Plaquemine, Louisiana.
The project, next to Shintech's existing PVC plant in Plaquemine, will in its first phase add annual capacities for 640m lb (290,000 tonnes) of PVC and 270,000 tonnes of caustic soda, Shin-Etsu said.
Completion of the $1.49bn investment is targeted for the end of 2020.
